What should you do after you reach 100 blog posts?
If you've only been blogging for a year or less, you've probably found that it is getting harder and harder to break into the blogosphere and be as successful as some of these other sites like Copyblogger Problogger entrepreneurs-journey and others
Why is that?
Well, the reason is because there are so many others trying to do the same thing, the competition is now stiff the search engines are quite overwhelmed and everyone is spending time posting as well as performing a bunch of search engine optimization tricks.
The continuous raves about the next SEO trick and traffic building method causes us to search more about this topic read more about this topic and actually get drawn away from the main thing we should be working on which is developing content
So when you reach 100 blog posts here is what you must do...
First if you're not getting the traffic that you truly think you should, then you must re-evaluate some of the following
- Your niche as a blogger
- Your style and uniqueness
- Your name or branding
- Your look and feel
- Your actual article themes and topics
Initially this takes hard work and is quite time-consuming but it can pay off. But again only if what you are doing is actually noticed and well-liked. The problem first is getting discovered.
It's extremely difficult to keep blogging without much of a readership. Find your audience, and write more for them and less for yourself once you pass the phase of self as much. Anyhow keep posting. I am, and hope it will pay off. Let's hang in there!
